Job Description

As a Paint Associate, you will help customers understand their needs and assist in selecting the right products. As knowledgeable sales professionals, sales associates can make recommendations that solve customers' problems and improve their shopping experience.

Responsibilities

1. Drive sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
2. Understand customer needs and guide them to the best solutions for their projects.
3. Mix paint colors using designated computer systems.
4. Take initiative and confidently manage customer interactions.
5. Produce quotes, material lists, and follow up.
6. Maintain high standards of safety and customer service.
7. Resolve customer challenges efficiently.
8. Continuously learn about products and market conditions.

Qualifications

1. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
2. Experience in sales and customer service.
3. High attention to detail.
4. Knowledge of paint is a plus.
5. Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
6. Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends on a rotating schedule.
7. Ability to learn and operate the computer system (D635) used for processing orders.
8. Grade 12 diploma or equivalent is preferred.
