Sephora Canada is seeking a Paid Service Beauty Advisor at the Beauty Studio in Sydney, NS. You’ll guide clients on their beauty journey, teaching, inspiring, and delivering exceptional service in a diverse team environment.

Key responsibilities include personalized consultations, makeup applications, skincare services, staying current with trends, bookings, and supporting sales events. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in retail, strong communication, reliability, and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of prior experience in retail sales or services.
• Knowledge about trending beauty products.
• Passion for client service and selling.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personalized Beauty Consultations: Understand clients' beauty goals and recommend suitable products and services.
• Perform Beauty Services: Provide customized beauty services, including makeup application and skincare treatments.
• Demonstrate Product Application: Showcase makeup techniques and skincare routines.
• Stay Current with Beauty Trends: Stay updated about the latest beauty trends, products, and launches at Sephora.
• Deliver Exceptional Client Service: Create a welcoming environment and handle bookings/rebooking.

• Deliver Exceptional Client Service: Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all clients. Handle bookings and rebooking of beauty services.
• Participate in Sales and Promotional Events: Be part of sales events and promotions, driving customer engagement and contributing to the store's sales goals.

Qualifications/Experience:

• 1-3 years' prior experience in retail sales or services.
• Knowledge about trending beauty products.
• Passion for client service and selling.
• Strong communication skills, ability to multitask.
• Consistent and reliable attendance.
• Flexible availability to work during peak retail hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Meaningful Rewards

The compensation ranges between CAD$18.70 - CAD$22.75/hr. Additionally, you may be eligible for performance-based bonus opportunities, a competitive benefits program, and robust learning and development initiatives aimed at promoting employee support and recognition.The final pay offered will depend on various factors, including but not limited to the actual qualifications and experience of the individual, and any additional non-discriminatory, legitimate business factors relevant to the position and/or location.
