Directive Consulting is the performance marketing agency for SaaS and Tech companies. We use Customer Generation, a marketing methodology developed by us, focusing on SQLs and Customers instead of traditional metrics like MQLs. We offer Paid Media, SEO/Content, CRO, and Video services through comprehensive digital marketing strategies that help our clients hit their SQL targets consistently.

Note: This role is internally titled Paid Media Strategist.

The Paid Strategist role is client-facing, responsible for managing client deliverables, creating and executing custom strategies, and communicating with clients and internal teams. You will gain experience in creating high-performing paid strategies for enterprise SaaS businesses.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Oversee and lead multiple Paid Media accounts
  • Support client contacts directly
  • Communicate weekly with vendors and operational partners to ensure alignment and quality
  • Drive referrals through client relationships and networks
  • Develop quarterly strategies for clients
  • Create, maintain, and optimize budgets for paid campaigns across channels
  • Understand client positioning and unique value propositions
  • Ensure lead routing accuracy within CRM
  • Understand the value of Programmatic campaigns
  • Manage personal productivity and utilization
  • Work with the Associate Director to meet internal and client goals
  • Execute and optimize PPC campaigns on platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads, focusing on keyword research, ad copy, and audience targeting to maximize ROI
What You Offer
  • 3+ years experience in a performance/digital marketing agency
  • Experience with B2B SaaS/tech clients
  • Deep expertise in paid search and social campaigns (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
  • Proficiency in advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager)
  • Strong understanding of PPC principles
  • Ability to analyze campaign data using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Excel
  • Proven success with mid-market or enterprise accounts
  • Strategic ability to drive value for SaaS
  • Data storytelling skills
  • Problem-solving mindset, competitive and curious
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects
  • Quality-focused with a passion for advertising
  • Willingness to travel approximately once per year per client
