Are you ready to dive into an exciting job that combines your love for water, adventure, and exceptional customer service? Look no further! We are seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Paddlesports Attendants at Alice Lake Provincial Park.

As a Paddlesports Attendant, you’ll be part of a dynamic crew dedicated to creating unforgettable experiences for park visitors. If you’re a water enthusiast who thrives on making a splash, this is the job for you!

Terms of Employment:

Hourly wage starting at $19/hour
Employment from early June to September (long weekend)
Hours of operation approximately 9:30 AM – 5:30/6:30 PM, weather permitting.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Connection: Provide a warm welcome to visitors interested in paddlesports. Share your enthusiasm and knowledge about our park and its lake.
  2. Equipment Guru: Assist visitors in selecting the appropriate canoe, kayak, or paddleboard for their adventures. Ensure everyone has the right gear to enjoy their water activities safely.
  3. Safety Superhero: Conduct safety briefings, teach paddling techniques, and monitor visitors to ensure safety while they have fun on the water.

Qualifications:

  1. Passionate Water Lover: Enthusiastic about paddlesports such as canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding.
  2. People Person: Friendly, approachable, and excellent at communication to make visitors feel welcome.
  3. Safety Savvy: Knowledge of water safety, rescue procedures, and paddling techniques.
  4. Aquatic Athlete: Comfortable in water with strong swimming skills.
  5. Team Player: Collaborative and willing to assist colleagues and visitors alike.

Compensation: $19 - $21 per hour
