Job Purpose

The Packing Hall Trainer works with the Training Supervisor to train packing hall associates on job-related tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct hands-on training for packing hall positions.
  • Use training materials like handbooks and videos.
  • Follow onboarding records as a training checklist.
  • Ensure employees are trained on health and safety procedures, GMPs, e-Stops, lockout locations, and emergency exits.
  • Support the T&D Manager in designing and tailoring training programs for packers and packing hall associates.
  • Communicate with floor employees about training needs and resolve issues.
  • Ensure training as per the Training Matrix.
  • Enter training records into Alchemy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Follow health and safety rules and regulations.
  • Adhere to GMPs, food safety, and food defense guidelines.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work on the production floor for extended periods.
  • Willingness and talent for coaching and teaching others.
  • Effective planning, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Strong writing and record-keeping abilities for reports and manuals.
  • Experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions

  • Compliance with ventilation, cleanliness, space, lighting, and temperature standards.

  • Repetition of movements.
