• Package products to customer specifications.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Position Title: General Laborer - Packer

Location: Richmond B.C. (V6V 3C8)

Starting Minimum: 19.86/hour

Job Type: Full Time Permanent

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Production Manager, or designate, the Packer will be accountable for the proper packaging of protein products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect product for quality, vacuum seal the item and place it in appropriate customer packaging.
• Ensure proper weight, description, and date is recorded on the products label.
• Ensure packaging is sealed without tears, damage, or visual contamination.
• Ensure the quality of the product is up to standard and dates are correct before processing.
• Package products to customer specifications.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Willingness to work with raw meat products.
• Willingness to work in a cold environment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks requiring lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing 30+ lbs. safely and effectively.
• Physical fitness and stamina to sustain prolonged periods of activity, repetitive movements, and manual labor.
• Previous work experience is an asset but not required.
• Training will be provided.
