Job summary

Teva Canada is seeking a Packaging Operator for a 6-month contract on the night shift, based in Scarborough, Ontario. You will operate packaging equipment, ensure compliance with GMP and safety policies, and maintain accurate documentation in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires at least 1 year of pharmaceutical experience, a high school diploma, and strong mechanical and teamwork skills. Training availability is provided, with potential for bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of pharmaceutical experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with high-speed machinery.
  • Solid understanding of Health & Safety procedures (OH&S Act, WHMIS).
  • Team-oriented mindset with good interpersonal skills.
  • Solid math and writing skills (online assessment required for interview consideration).

Responsibilities

  • Operate packaging equipment in accordance with the Master Packaging Order (MPO).
  • Follow EH&S policies, GMPs, and controlled procedures (SOPs, EMs, WIs, JAs).
  • Perform basic equipment setup, including programming batch info and cleaning/assembly.
  • Troubleshoot and fine-tune equipment within your area of responsibility.
  • Inspect finished products and complete documentation accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized packaging area.
  • Support OPEX initiatives (OEE, SMED, RCPS, Kaizen, 5S).
  • Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and operate equipment properly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

How You’ll Spend Your Day
