Job summary

Teva Canada is seeking a Packaging Operator on a 12-month contract (night shift) in Scarborough, Ontario. You will operate high-speed packaging equipment, follow GMPs and SOPs, and maintain a clean, compliant workspace.

The role requires at least 1 year of pharma experience, a high school diploma, and solid mechanical aptitude. Teva offers competitive pay at $20.48 per hour, potential for bonus, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of pharmaceutical experience.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with high-speed machinery.
  • Solid understanding of Health & Safety procedures (OH&S Act, WHMIS).
  • Team-oriented mindset with good interpersonal skills.
  • Solid math and writing skills (online assessment required for interview consideration).

Responsibilities

  • Operate packaging equipment in accordance with the Master Packaging Order (MPO).
  • Follow EH&S policies, GMPs, and controlled procedures (SOPs, EMs, WIs, JAs).
  • Perform basic equipment setup, including programming batch info and cleaning/assembly.
  • Troubleshoot and fine-tune equipment within your area of responsibility.
  • Inspect finished products and complete documentation accurately.
  • Maintain a clean and organized packaging area.
  • Support OPEX initiatives (OEE, SMED, RCPS, Kaizen, 5S).
  • Adhere to Health & Safety procedures and operate equipment properly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

How You’ll Spend Your Day
  • Operate packaging equipment in accordance with the Master Packaging Order (MPO)

The typical hiring range for this position is $20.48 per hour. The base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this role may qualify for an annual bonus based on employment type.
