Job summary

Richardson International in Barrhead, AB, is seeking a Production Worker (Packaging Operator) to operate the packaging system, seal finished goods, and prepare orders for shipping according to product specifications. The role requires 12‑hour rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, teamwork, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Experience with forklifts or mobile equipment is an asset.

• Computer knowledge is an asset.
• Experience operating mobile equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment.
• Operate forklift.
• Perform minor repairs and troubleshooting activities on packaging equipment.
• Perform cleaning duties as assigned to meet standards in all areas of the warehouse and grounds.
• Accurately complete documentation for all processes.
• Perform quality and food safety checks of finished goods and equipment.
• Operates in accordance with all food safety, safety, and fire prevention regulations and practices.
• Perform other duties as required.

This position is responsible for operating the packaging system to ensure finished products are packed, sealed, and prepared for shipping according to product specifications.
