The Packaging Manager, reporting to the Operations Manager, is a key member of the Plant Management Team responsible for setting departmental goals and ensuring compliance with company policies. This role oversees daily packaging operations, including scheduling personnel to meet customer demand and maintain line efficiency. The Packaging Manager manages labour relations in a unionized environment, enforces health and safety standards, resolves quality issues, and collaborates with other departments. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of supervisory experience in unionized manufacturing, preferably in aluminum extrusion or electrostatic paint line industries. Strong leadership skills and flexibility with shifts are essential.
