Job summary
A food and beverage manufacturing company in Calgary is seeking an Automation Control Specialist responsible for maintaining and improving automated production systems. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Electrical or Automation Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience, especially with PLCs and control systems. Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in facility maintenance, preferably in food/beverage manufacturing.
- Proven experience with automation/control systems.
- Certifications from ISA, Rockwell Automation, or Siemens are considered assets.
Responsibilities
- Design, program, commission, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems.
- Calibrate and maintain field instruments.
- Participate in capital projects and equipment commissioning.
Skills
Fluent in both spoken and written English

Strong attendance and punctuality
Ability to analyze technical information

Education
Diploma or degree in Electrical, Automation, Mechatronics or Instrumentation
