Job summary

Stampede Culinary Partners is hiring for an Afternoon Shift production role in Canada. You will move, weigh and package meat products, operate packaging equipment, and ensure quality and safety compliance as part of a collaborative team environment.

Starting wage is $18.85 per hour with weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and on-site parking. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, comfort in a cold environment, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Basic math skills.
• Comfortable working in a cold environment.

• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Move portioned meat products from conveyor belts into packaging.
• Weigh and portion diced meat into bags, trays, or vacuum machines.
• Transport meat using carts between workstations.
• Distribute meat from carts to conveyors using gloves.
• Load meat into injectors, vacuum machines, or tumblers.
• Place meat onto racks or into boxes.
• Verify product weights using scales.
• Seal packaged products with hand sealers.
• Sort products and ensure package integrity.
• Apply labels to packages.
• Work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Adhere to quality and safety guidelines.

We are currently hiring for our Afternoon Shift.

• Afternoon Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM (includes a shift premium). Hours subject to change.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Move portioned meat products from conveyor belts into various packaging, including vacuum-sealed bags and boxes.
• Weigh and portion diced meat, placing it into bags, trays, or vacuum machines.
• Transport meat products using carts or pans between workstations.
• Distribute meat from carts to conveyor belts using gloved hands.
• Load meat into injectors, vacuum machines, or tumblers.
• Place meat onto racks or into boxes.
• Verify product weights using scales.
• Seal packaged products using hand sealers.
• Sort products and ensure package integrity.
• Apply labels to packages.
• Work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.

• Perform additional duties as needed.
