Job summary

Hela Spice Canada Inc. is seeking a dedicated Packager to join our production team.

You will operate various packaging machinery, load and unload materials, and use our warehouse systems to track inventory and packaging operations in a fast-paced environment. You will conduct quality checks, follow metal detection procedures, report deviations, and help with shipping and receiving tasks to prepare shipments for delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required (20 kg).
• Experience with warehouse management systems (an asset).
• Experience using order pickers or other material handling equipment (an asset).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate various packaging machinery and equipment to efficiently package products.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers using safe handling practices.
• Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage packaging operations.
• Conduct quality checks on packaged items to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Follow metal detection procedures and immediately report any deviations.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area at all times.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and timelines.
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing shipments for delivery.
