In this role, you'll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. As an Application Package Specialist, you'll help clients in the selection, implementation, and production support of application packaged solutions. Your role and responsibilities

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAP FI/MM Consultant to join our team at IBM Canada Inc. in Calgary. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting SAP HANA Financial Accounting (FI) and MM solutions for our clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and configure SAP HANA FI/MM solutions for clients, ensuring high-quality results and meeting project timelines.
• Analyze client business requirements and develop tailored solutions to meet their needs.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial accounting processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in project meetings, workshops, and training sessions to stay up-to-date on the latest SAP HANA FI/MM developments and best practices.
• Work closely with other team members to ensure seamless delivery of projects and services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP HANA FI/MM implementation and support.
• Stay current with SAP HANA FI/MM product developments, enhancements, and best practices to ensure continuous learning and growth.

Required technical and professional expertise

Requirements:

• Experience in SAP HANA FI implementation, configuration, and support.
• Strong understanding of SAP HANA FI concepts, including financial accounting, asset accounting, and cash management.
• Experience with SAP HANA FI implementation methodologies and tools (e.g., SAP Activate, ASAP).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP tools (SAP GUI, SAP GUI for Windows).
• Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
• Implement and configure SAP HANA MM solutions to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of SAP HANA MM functionality and best practices.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP HANA FI certification (e.g., CHANAIMP14 or CHANAIMP15).
• Experience with SAP HANA Cloud Platform (HCP) and SAP Cloud Platform (SCP).
• Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of financial accounting standards and regulations (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).

Nice to Have:

• Experience with SAP HANA databases and data modeling.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and business intelligence.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Certification in data science or analytics.
