Job summary

Intelcom is seeking a dynamic warehouse associate to join our Canadian network. You will work in a fast-paced environment handling freight, sorting parcels, and operating handheld devices to prepare orders for delivery.

We offer a flexible schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week and opportunities to grow within a team-driven setting. Training is provided, and safety is a top priority.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds / 23 kg.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Willing to work shift-based schedules.
• Ability to learn sorting procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests.
• Unload freight manually into conveyors.
• Organize and sort parcels according to the sort plan.
• Sort, scan, and prepare orders using handheld devices.
• Place packages in designated areas for delivery or Linehaul.
• Stage sorted freight in load-out areas per station layout.
• Complete tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Lift up to 50 pounds / 23 kg.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range

Core Duties:

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests

• Unload freight manually into manual and powered conveyors

• Use power/ manual jacks to organize, receive shipments, and feed the sort lines. (Mandatory training, certify)

• Organize thesortsetup as per thesortplan.

• Sort, scan, and handle parcels according to thesortplan.

• Operate technology and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.

• Place packages in designated areas for the delivery or Linehaul team. (Hub and Stations)

• Stage the sorted freight in the designated load out area as per the station layout

• Complete related tasks assigned by supervisors.

• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages. (Hub and Middle Mile)

• Validate the scanned and sorted freight to ensure sorting efficiency (reduce the mis-sorts).

• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections.

• Lift up to50pounds / 23 kg.

• Other duties as assigned
