Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly is hiring for a fast-paced warehouse role in Edmonton. Join a team that handles sorting, loading, and packing parcels across hub and middle mile operations.

You will unload trailers, verify freight, sort and scan parcels with handheld devices, lift up to 23 kg, and maintain safety. A flexible schedule with minimum 3 days per week is provided.

Qualifications

• Fast-paced warehouse environment experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in shifts and meet daily targets.
• Strong teamwork and reliability in warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests.
• Unload freight into conveyors and organize shipments.
• Sort, scan, and prepare orders using handheld devices.
• Place packages in designated areas for delivery or Linehaul teams.
• Lift up to 23 kg (50 pounds) and perform safety inspections.
• Assist with pallet building, wrapping, and loading.

Core Duties:

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests
• Unload freight manually into manual and powered conveyors
• Use power/ manual jacks to organize, receive shipments, and feed the sort lines. (Mandatory training, certify)
• Organize thesortsetup as per thesortplan.
• Sort, scan, and handle parcels according to thesortplan.
• Operate technology and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Place packages in designated areas for the delivery or Linehaul team. (Hub and Stations)
• Stage the sorted freight in the designated load out area as per the station layout
• Complete related tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages. (Hub and Middle Mile)
• Validate the scanned and sorted freight to ensure sorting efficiency (reduce the mis-sorts).
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections.
• Lift up to50pounds / 23 kg.
• Other duties as assigned
