Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking a Package Handler Trainer for a part-time PM shift (Sunday to Thursday, timings TBD) in Canada. The position requires lifting up to 70 lbs and maneuvering packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.

You will train other handlers and ensure safe, efficient movement of goods within the facility. Preferred candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, six months of package handling experience, and knowledge of FedEx Canada operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of experience as a Package Handler is preferred.
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations is a plus.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to interact with team members.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with equipment.
• Must have a valid G license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and sort freight to support efficient operations.
• Train other Package Handlers on loading, unloading, palletizing, and scanning techniques.
• Ensure safe movement of packages through the facility and between locations.
• Work the PM shift, Sunday to Thursday, with timings to be determined.

Trains other Package Handlers (PHs) on loading, unloading, palletizing, and scanning techniques in order to ensure efficient and safe movement of packages through the operation.
