FedEx Corporation in Canada is seeking a Package Handler for a 3-month temp assignment. You will load and unload freight, scan and sort shipments, and move packages within the facility to keep operations efficient and safe.

You may also train fellow PHs on loading techniques, follow safety protocols, and assist with equipment as needed. Successful candidates must be able to lift 70 lb and manage packages up to 150 lb, with a valid G license and a clean driving record.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• Six months of experience as a Package Handler (preferred).
• Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs (preferred).
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and handle packages up to 150 lbs with equipment.
• Valid G license with a good driving record.

Responsabilidades

To load and unload freight, scan, and sort freight within the facility. To transport freight within and between facilities. Trains other Package Handlers (PHs) on loading, unloading, palletizing, and scanning techniques in order to ensure efficient and safe movement of packages through the operation.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent (Preferred)
• Six (6) months of experience as a Package Handler preferred.
• FedEx Canada operations and Canadian Customs regulations - (Preferred)
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must have the ability to lift 70 lbs & maneuver any package weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment
• Must possess a valid G license & have a good driving record
