Job summary

Intelcom | Dragonfly is hiring for a warehouse associate at our Mississauga location. The role involves unloading and sorting parcels in a fast-paced, team-driven environment with shift-based schedules. You'll handle freight, operate handheld devices, and follow the sort plan to ensure accurate deliveries.

Compensation ranges from $20.35 to $22.48 per hour, with accommodations available during recruitment. This position offers a hands-on, dynamic role within a leading last-mile logistics network.

Qualifications

• Lift up to 50 pounds / 23 kg.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced warehouse with shift-based schedules.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and verify freight against manifests.
• Unload freight manually into manual and powered conveyors.
• Use power/manual jacks to organize, receive shipments, and feed the sort lines. (Mandatory training, certify)
• Organize the sort setup as per the sort plan.
• Sort, scan, and handle parcels according to the sort plan.
• Operate handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Place packages in designated areas for the delivery or Linehaul team. (Hub and Stations)
• Stage the sorted freight in the designated load out area as per the station layout
• Complete related tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages. (Hub and Middle Mile)
• Validate the scanned and sorted freight to ensure sorting efficiency (reduce the mis-sorts).
• Perform cleaning, housekeeping, and safety inspections.
• Lift up to50pounds / 23 kg.
• Other duties as assigned
