Purpose of Position

Our package handlers are frontline employees vital to GLS. They sort packages, ensure correct routing, and work as part of a team to maintain safety and efficiency. We seek individuals who care about safety, quality, and working at a fast pace.

Essential Job Functions

• Scan, sort, load, and unload packages
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
• Follow all safety rules and maintain a clean work area
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Work Environment

Work conditions are stable but often wet, humid, and loud, with potential exposure to fumes, airborne particles, heat, and vibrations. Standing for long periods and working outdoors in various weather conditions are required.

Lifting Requirements

• 0-25 lbs.: Regularly
• 26-50 lbs.: Regularly
• Over 51 lbs.: Regularly
