In this role, you'll be based in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients worldwide. Our centers provide local skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and technology adoption.
The resource will be responsible for managing a telco's ordering platform, a highly multi-threaded custom J2EE Web application, which includes J2EE SOA components and a customized Sterling CPQ-based product configuration platform. Responsibilities include configuration, setup, maintenance, and monitoring of the application and backend systems such as the CPQ database (DB2). The role involves prioritizing and investigating enhancements, which may include J2EE development, log analysis, JVM configuration, and deployment/configuration tasks. Reviewing and approving technical assessments and translating technical solutions into business benefits are also key. The role requires providing technical support to team members.
