Your role and responsibilities

IBM's CIC, opened in Nova Scotia in March 2013, is the first of its kind in Canada. It integrates IBM’s business insights and software portfolio, serving clients needing flexible SAP HANA SCM SD access to emerging or niche skills that are not cost-effective to develop internally. In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers, delivering technical and industry expertise to diverse public and private sector clients worldwide. Our centers provide local skills and expertise to foster innovation and technology adoption.

This opportunity involves assisting clients with the selection, implementation, and support of SAP's Sales and Distribution module. You will utilize consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solutions expertise to manage sales and customer distribution data and processes effectively.

Required technical and professional expertise

• 3 to 6 years of SAP functional experience, specializing in the design and configuration of SAP SD modules.

• Experience gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing SAP configurations, writing detailed specifications for custom development, testing, coordinating transports to production, and post-go-live support.

• Ability to create requirement specifications based on architecture, design, and process details.

• Ability to work independently on production support and enhancements.

• Understanding of Order-to-Cash processes; experience in sales order management is a plus.
