Your Role And Responsibilities

IBM is currently seeking an SAP GRC / Security Specialist to lead SAP implementations, contribute to sustainment efforts, and participate in project delivery. This vital role involves designing, developing, and managing every phase of the project lifecycle, including leading diverse teams. An SAP GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) consultant helps organizations manage risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and enforce internal controls within SAP systems. Overall, the work revolves around implementing and maintaining the SAP GRC suite, with the more popular module being Access Control (12.0).

Key responsibilities include assisting clients in selecting, deploying, and providing ongoing support for packaged application solutions. As the SAP GRC Specialist, you will acquire comprehensive consulting competencies, business acumen, and specialized knowledge of packaged solutions. This expertise will enable you to seamlessly integrate advanced technology into clients' operational environments.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• 5+ years’ experience in SAP GRC & Security requirements gathering, design, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Must have the ability to work in Canada without sponsorship.
• Must be able to relocate to Nova Scotia, Calgary, or Montreal.
• Must have hands-on SAP GRC implementation experience in a GRC environment (version 10.1 or 12).
• Must have strong communication skills, able to work closely with the client, and capable of building a strong relationship with the Project Team and Stakeholders.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• General understanding of SAP Technical Architecture & Terminology.
• General understanding of SAP GRC & Security Principles, including the industry’s journey to the Cloud, security, and controls.
• Experience in full cycle SAP GRC implementation or upgrades, including design, configuration, testing, and training.
• Experience supporting internal and external audit requests.
• Experience designing and deploying enterprise user/role management & provisioning solutions.
• Strong GRC configuration, customizing, and testing experience for AC and PC.
• Strong SAP IAG experience.
• Proven success configuring GRC modules to fit organizational policies or automate workflows.
• Proven success leading large teams for project delivery within tight timelines and high visibility.
• Ability to solve complex issues creatively and analytically in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience with the latest version of S/4HANA, SAP GRC, and tools like Solution Manager, FIORI, Microsoft Active Directory (AD), LDAP, BTP, and SAC.
