The Chinook School Division requires a full-time (1.0 FTE) continuing PAA teacher at Swift Current Comprehensive High School beginning August 26, 2025. SCCHS is a Grade 9-12 school with 995 students and 53 teachers.

The Chinook School Division is proud to serve over 6,000 students in 60 schools, with over 1,000 collegial and student-centered teachers and support staff. We are a vibrant and progressive school division located within Saskatchewan's great Southwest. Qualifications:

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and an ability to work in a team environment;
  • A teaching philosophy that reflects a constructivist and cooperative learning approach;
  • Ability to work effectively within an environment which includes developing meaningful and productive relationships with students, parents, PLC's, professionals, and community service agencies;
  • Demonstrated ability to connect with youth in a student-centered learning environment in addition to having an interest or willingness to connect with students outside of the classroom;
  • Demonstrates a commitment to truth and reconciliation;
  • Demonstrates a commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion;
  • Successful teaching experience or training;
  • Certified as a Teacher in good standing in Saskatchewan or the ability to be certified.
