About The Opportunity

Reporting to the P3 Facilities Management Contract Manager, the Assistant Manager supports the management of P3 facilities, ensuring compliance with contractual terms, standards, and evaluation criteria related to facility management for P3 projects built under DBFM and related models. The role involves working with the Contract Manager to liaise with redevelopment projects and manage relationships with Project Co, clinical leadership, and government to ensure project success and value for money.

Responsibilities

  1. Assist in administering payment processes and ensure they align with contract management procedures during the concession period.
  2. Support transition to operations by implementing facility management output specifications and reviewing operating protocols.
  3. Evaluate Project Co’s delivery strategies for compliance and value for money.
  4. Participate in audits to ensure performance and quality standards are met, identifying performance improvement opportunities.
  5. Review service level changes, assess their impact, and recommend appropriate actions.
  6. Approve requests for minor works and occupant requests, ensuring minimal impact on operations and alignment with clinical needs.

About You

We are seeking candidates with:

  • Certified journeyperson or relevant post-secondary education in Maintenance and Operations.
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience in facilities management, including at least 1 year in a contracted setting.
  • Healthcare experience is an asset.
  • Certifications such as PMP, CEM, FMA, FMC, FMP, or CFM are assets.
  • Experience managing diverse projects and stakeholder teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CMMS, SAP, eBuilder, and Fieldwire systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of building operations, facilities management, and data reporting systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Hours

  • Permanent Full-Time: 75 hours bi-weekly

Compensation and Benefits

$40.95 - $51.19 hourly. Benefits include health, dental, travel, disability, life insurance, and a pension plan.
