Job summary

Coforge is seeking an SAP P2P Test Lead to design, prepare, execute, and document test activities across SAP S/4HANA business processes, integrations, configurations, data validation, and end-to-end scenarios. You will drive SIT, UAT, regression, cutover validation, and hypercare while ensuring defects are tracked and resolved for successful delivery.

• Identify, log, and track defects; provide detailed reproduction steps.
• Participate in defect triage and retesting after fixes.
• Create and maintain RTM, test data, and test execution records.
• Prepare and deliver daily testing status and QA reports.
• Support production deployment validation and cutover activities.

Job description

SAP P2P Test Lead is responsible for designing, preparing, executing, and documenting test activities across SAP S/4HANA business processes, integrations, configurations, data validation, and end-to-end business scenarios. Executes SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, Cutover Validation, and Hypercare activities while ensuring that business and technical requirements are validated and defects are identified, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner while working closely with functional consultants, business users, developers, integration teams, and Test Leads to ensure successful delivery of quality outcomes across the SAP transformation program.

Test Planning & Preparation

• Review business requirements, functional specifications, and process design documents.
• Develop detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data for assigned business processes.
• Ensure test scenarios provide complete business and functional coverage.
• Support creation and maintenance of requirements traceability matrices.

Test Execution

• Execute SIT, UAT, Regression, and End-to-End business process test scenarios.
• Validate SAP S/4HANA business processes, configurations, integrations, and reporting functionality.
• Verify business transactions, data processing, and expected outcomes against requirements.
• Capture test evidence and maintain execution records.
• Re-execute test cases following defect fixes and transport deployments.
• Identify, log, and track functional defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Provide detailed defect documentation, screenshots, and reproduction steps.
• Participate in defect triage meetings and resolution discussions.
• Perform retesting and regression validation after defect fixes.

Business Process Validation

• Validate end-to-end business processes across multiple SAP modules and integrated systems.
• Ensure functional requirements are fully tested and accepted.
• Verify process outcomes, controls, and compliance requirements.

Reporting & Quality Assurance

• Maintain daily execution status and testing progress reports.
• Support quality reviews and governance activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and best practices.
• Support cutover validation and production deployment activities.
• Perform smoke testing and post-deployment verification.
• Test Scenarios & Test Cases - Prepare detailed test cases covering business, functional, and integration requirements.
• Test Data Preparation Sheet - Define and maintain data required for successful test execution.
• Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) - Ensure complete traceability between requirements, test cases, and execution results.
• Test Execution Results - Document execution status, outcomes, and evidence for all assigned test cases.
• Defect Reports - Log, track, and document defects including severity, impact, and resolution status.
• Defect Retest Reports - Validate defect fixes and confirm successful resolution.
• Daily Testing Status Reports - Provide regular updates on execution progress, issues, and risks.
• Business Process Validation Report - Confirm testing coverage and successful validation of business processes.
• Cutover & Smoke Test Report - Document production validation and deployment verification activities.
• Test Summary Report - Consolidate overall testing results, defect trends, key observations, and recommendations.
