Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
  • Maintain and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment as necessary.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly.
  • Comply with safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.

Job Summary

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the facility, ensuring a safe, pleasant, neat environment for staff, students, and visitors. This role involves both day and evening shift responsibilities and may include minor maintenance tasks.

Evening Shift Responsibilities
  • Paint areas as directed by the supervisor, ensuring that the facility remains in good condition.
  • Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment for events or activities.
  • Ensure the facility is secure by locking doors and windows as needed.
  • Clean and maintain assigned areas.
  • Secure building and grounds.
  • Set up evening events and assist in unloading delivery trucks.
