Job summary

Artelia Canada is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to complete engineering designs and drawings using AutoCAD, manage document control, and coordinate with the team. The ideal candidate holds a college diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, with up to 3 years of experience in protection and control design/drafting, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and Word.

• College diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• Recent graduate or up to 3 years of relevant experience in protection and control design/drafting.
• Knowledge of electrical single-line diagrams, AC/DC schematics, connection wiring diagrams, elementary wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and cable lists.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Complete engineering designs and drawings packages by using AutoCAD.
• Complete document control, submissions and management.
• Coordinate project work with the team lead, other engineering disciplines and project manager.
• Perform other administrative and technical functions in support of engineering activities.
• Liaise with engineering, document control and ISO quality control standards for compliance.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel and Word.
