As a P&C Business Partner Consultant supporting leaders in the TELUS Customer Solutions Experience, you wear several hats : trusted advisor, consultant, project manager and change agent. Toggling between the big picture and then rolling up your sleeves to do the tactical work is second nature to you. You sit alongside and collaborate with the business leaders to provide thought leadership for People & Culture activities.

What you'll do

  • Lead by example as an ambassador of our culture; drives change by partnering with business leaders and other internal groups to proactively manage changes impacting team members.
  • Provide guidance and day-to-day support across a variety of topics including : performance improvement, conflict resolution, compensation, engagement, integration of acquired businesses, career development, recognition and communication
  • Partner with P&C Centres of Expertise to help drive the evolution of business unit programs and solutions
  • Participate in large scale ad-hoc people projects such as integration of acquired businesses.
  • Be data- driven : Leverage available tools, reporting and analysis (compensation, talent movement, etc.) to provide business leaders with key insight and data-driven analysis
  • Shares best practices and changes to any People and Culture programs and initiatives and ensures they are successfully adopted in a fair and consistent manner

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Minimum of 3+ solid years of experience in a leadership role or People and Culture role
  • Strong leadership skills gained from coaching and / or management experience
  • Excellent consulting and relationship management skills
  • Sound judgment and demonstrated business acumen
  • Strong communication skills including : Oral, written and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple demands simultaneously; you are proactive, and get work done.
  • Knowledge of current provincial employment law, HR theory and practices
  • Technical proficiency in Google Workspace and ability to adapt to internal systems
  • Post-Secondary education in Business Administration or Human Resources
  • Great-to-have

  • Bilingualism French-English both written and spoken
  • Advanced knowledge of English is required, because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.), interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.), as part of this position's main responsibilities, given its national scope.

    Salary Range : $73,000-$109,000

    Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan : 12%

    Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as :
