Job summary

Cooney Transport Ltd. seeks a dependable Regional AZ Owner Operator to join our Montreal Tank Division. You will operate on Canada routes, with Monday-to-Friday work and competitive rates. Orientation is paid for two days, and strong customer service is essential.

Requirements include a valid license, clean abstracts, a clear CVOR, and a clean police check or FAST card. Citizenship proof is also required to establish eligibility.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills required.
• Copy of valid driver's license (front and back) must be provided.
• Clean driver's abstract (max 30 days old).
• Clean CVOR (max 30 days old).
• Clean police check or FAST card (max 60 days old).
• Copy of proof of citizenship (passport, birth cert, or citizenship cert).

Responsibilities

• Operate as Regional AZ Owner Operator in our Montreal Tank Division.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Provide a copy of your Valid Driver's License (Front and Back)
• Provide a Clean Driver's Abstract (no more then 30 days old)
• Provide a Clean CVOR(no more then 30 days old)
• Provide a Clean Police Check (no more then 60 days old) or Valid FAST Card
• Copy of proof Citizenship (ie. Passport, Birth Certificate or Certificate of Citizenship)

Equipment:

• Maximum 5th wheel height of 48”
• All tractors must be heavy spec’d 46,000 lbs rear-end, and 14,000 lbs front end

Cooney Transport Pays For:

• Rates in Metric Ton
• Mileage and hourly Rates for loaded and empty moves (based on latest version of PC Miler).
• All Licensing Fees
• Company Decals (Special Orders at our expense)
• Fuel Tax, Permits (HVUT). Tolls, Bridge Crossings, and Transponders (excludes 407)
• PeopleNet Satelitte, Installation and Monthly Fee
• Accident Benefits and Emergency Out-of-Province Coverage

Owner OperatorPays For:

• Insurance-Auto, cargo, and liability insurance deductibles will remain at $2,500.00 per occurrence with the primary policy remaining at a $10,000 limit.
• Insurance based on gross revenue will be charged at 5.0%.
• Buy Down & WSIB replacement insurance must be purchased through company approved provided.
• Buy Down cost: $136.00 per month - THIS IS A MANDATORY COST.

• Belleville/Brantford terminal Fuel / DEF capped @.85cents/L + taxes.
