Job summary

Pacific Community Resources Society (PCRS) is seeking auxiliary on-call staff to provide overnight extreme weather shelter support for youth and young adults in Surrey, BC. The role requires a 2-year diploma in Child and Youth Care or related field, with 1 year of to-be-determined experience and a preferred bachelor's degree.

Hours are seasonal and shift-based (7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.), and the successful candidates join a flexible pool to cover varied youth services and shelter operations.

Qualifications

• 2-year diploma in Child and Youth Care or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Child and Youth Care preferred.
• 1 year directly related experience with at-risk youth.

Responsibilities

• Provide overnight extreme weather shelter support from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. during winter.
• Participate in auxiliary pool and be available for varied youth work settings.
• Demonstrate professional boundaries, empathy, and safety in youth services.
