Day & Ross, part of McCain Foods, is seeking an overnight Shunt Driver in Moncton, NB. You will move trailers, dock yard organization, conduct yard and reefer checks, and assist other drivers in a fast-paced terminal environment.

Requirements include secondary education, 1 year shunt truck experience preferred, Class 1 license preferred but not required, ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and a safety-focused, self-motivated mindset. Overnight schedule Sunday to Thursday 12am-8:30am.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of Secondary education.
• 1 year experience driving a shunt truck preferred.
• Class 1 license preferred but not required with applicable experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

• Able to work with little supervision.

Aufgaben

• Move trailers to and from the dock doors.
• Park and organize equipment in the yard.
• Conduct yard checks recording trailer numbers, refer settings, fuel level, and seals.
• Conduct reefer checks including unit number and settings.
• Seal trailers and verify requirements.
• Ensure yard is clean and safe.
• Assist Line haul and P&D drivers with locating equipment.
• Assist on Dock regularly.
