Overview

Hyatt Regency Toronto is seeking a dedicated Overnight Rooms Supervisor to join our team on a part-time basis for a one-year maternity leave coverage. This role involves assisting management in the Front Office, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining service standards.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with scheduling and act as manager on duty when required.
  • Support and enforce corporate policies and procedures.
  • Supervise staff, assist in onboarding, training, and disciplinary actions.
  • Develop departmental goals and strategies.
  • Maintain accurate shift logbooks and conduct briefings.
  • Respond to guest needs and resolve complaints.
  • Control supplies and ensure safety procedures are followed.
  • Communicate loyalty program details and guest feedback to departments.
  • Coordinate with other departments and assist with payroll and labor cost monitoring.
Qualifications
  • Minimum one year of hotel experience.
  • Post-secondary degree in hospitality or tourism.
  • Energetic, outgoing, with a positive attitude and excellent guest service skills.
  • Knowledge of Canadian labour laws.
