Overnight Order Picker Part Time- Contract (NEPEAN)

As an Order Picker, you will help grow our online business and customer relationships by taking online customer orders and preparing products for customer pick-up or delivery in a timely manner.

Position Responsibilities
  • Pick, organize, and verify orders for delivery or pick-up
  • Utilize appropriate lift truck equipment to prepare customer orders (training provided)
  • Support customers at our service desk, including answering questions, taking calls, operating the cash register, and handling product returns
  • Use computer terminals and/or portable phones to check inventory, look up orders, and notify customers when products are ready for pick-up
  • Plan ahead for future deliveries and streamline processes
Experience/Knowledge Required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Computer skills to identify product and vendor information
  • Forklift and/or lift truck experience is an asset but not required
Time Management and Organizational Skills
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read delivery invoices (asset)
  • Knowledge or hands-on experience with store products (asset)
  • Comfortable lifting merchandise for organization and customer pick-up
