Position: Order Picker at The Home Depot

Role Overview: As an Order Picker, you'll support our online growth and customer relationships by accurately selecting products for orders, prioritizing them, and preparing them for customer pick-up or delivery in a timely manner.

Position Responsibilities:

1. Picking, organizing, staging, and verifying orders for delivery or pick-up
2. Labeling and placing orders into designated holding areas until they are moved out of the store and loaded onto trucks
3. Utilizing lift truck equipment to prepare customer orders (training provided)
4. Using computer terminals and/or mobile devices to identify products, check inventory, look up, and pick orders
5. Stocking merchandise onto shelves and organizing the sales floor
6. Loading orders onto delivery trucks

Experience and Knowledge Requirements:

• Flexible schedule availability, including nights from 10 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Sunday
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with desktops and smartphone apps
• Previous forklift or lift truck experience is a plus but not mandatory
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to lift up to fifty pounds repeatedly
• Attention to detail; capable of working independently and as part of a team; self-motivated to complete tasks quickly and accurately

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.75 per hour.
