COMPASS GROUP CANADA is seeking a diligent housekeeping associate in Vernon, BC to maintain clean and orderly environments. You will perform light cleaning, linen handling, and routine safety practices to support residents and staff.

Candidate should have strong time management, good English communication, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Prior healthcare, hotel, or commercial cleaning experience is an asset, with a commitment to safety and confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Perform light cleaning duties to maintain establishments in a clean and orderly condition.
• Clean and disinfect areas and items such as washrooms, vents, interior windows, walls, glass, doors, and mirrors.
• Collect, wash and fold linen.
• Damp mop hard floors and auto scrub as needed.
• Check primary areas (lobbies, stairwells, elevators/escalators, mezzanines) and clean as required.
• Vacuum carpeted areas and perform carpet extraction as needed.
• Remove all garbage from resident rooms and common areas.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and personnel information.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and report injuries or hazards.
• Respond to emergency cleanups and assist with resident health emergencies.

Salary: $22.28

You will be responsible for performing light cleaning duties that maintain the establishment in a clean and orderly manner.

• Clean and disinfect areas and items such as, washrooms, vents, interior windows, walls, glass, doors, and mirrors
• Collect, wash and fold linen
• Damp mop hard floors and auto scrub as needed
• Check all primary areas, lobbies, stairwells, elevators/escalators, and mezzanines and clean as required
• Vacuum carpeted areas and complete carpet extraction as needed
• Remove all garbage from resident rooms and common areas
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and personnel information
• Maintain a safe environment at all times (e.g. use of wet floor signs)
• Perform duties according to health and safety guidelines
• Report all injuries and hazards to the supervisor immediately
• Responding to emergency cleanups as required
• Carry the community emergency phone overnight, assist with resident health emergencies, co-ordinating with first responders.
• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare, hotel or commercial cleaning, is an asset.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to be able to manage heavy workload.
• Good command of English language, both verbal and written.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to perform all aspects of the job, including requirements to lift up to 20 pounds
