Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring an Overnight General Clerk at our UBC location in Vancouver, BC. The role covers grocery, bakery, produce and restaurant departments with open availability preferred.

You will operate a cash register, share product knowledge, keep departments stocked and presented, ensure freshness, and handle customer inquiries to deliver a positive experience. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
• Retail customer service experience is an asset.
• Strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.

We are hiring for an Overnight General Clerk to work in various departments at our UBC location in Vancouver, BC. Departments include grocery, bakery, produce and restaurant. Open availability is preferred.

You will be responsible for:

• Going the Extra Mile for our customers and fellow team members.
• Operating a cash register.
• Sharing product knowledge with customers.
• Ensuring the department is well stocked and presented.
• Ensuring only the freshest products are displayed.
• Handling customer service inquiries and providing a positive customer experience.
• Cleaning equipment and work area to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
• Using a variety of equipment, including knives.

You have:

• A passion for great food and providing outstanding customer service.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
• Retail customer service experience (considered an asset).

Compensation Details:

$18.25 - $21.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
