Four Seasons Hotel Toronto is seeking a talented Overnight Front Desk Receptionist to join our Front Office team. You will be the first and last impression for guests, ensuring a smooth arrival and departure experience and handling guest comments and questions with professionalism.

We value excellent presentation, strong English communication, and prior front desk/guest service experience in a luxury setting. OPERA PMS experience is a plus; bilingual skills are an asset.

Qualifications

• Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English is required.
• 1-2 years of Front Desk/Guest Service experience in a fast-paced luxury hotel.
• OPERA PMS experience is an asset.
• Additional languages are an asset for career growth.
• Completion of Post Secondary Education in Hospitality or related field

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests have a smooth arrival and departure experience as the first and last impression of the hotel.
• Handle guest comments, questions, suggestions and concerns through the Front Office.
• Maintain professional appearance and demeanor and assist guests with inquiries during overnight shifts.

About The Role

The Overnight Front Desk Receptionist is a central part of the Front Office Team whose main objective is to ensure our guests have a smooth arrival and departure experience. As the first and last impression of the Hotel, this high profile department carries a special responsibility. The Front Office is also the natural place where guests direct comments, questions, suggests and concerns.

What You Will Bring

We are looking for candidates who have excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. Good problem solving ability and proficiency in Hotel property management systems. Fluency in reading, writing, and spoken English is also required. The Front Desk Receptionist position requires continuous standing for the majority of the shift and ability to lift at least 25lbs. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any task.

Additional Preferred Qualifications & Skills

• 1-2 years previous Front Desk/Guest Service experience in a fast paced, luxury Hotel operation
• Previous experience with OPERA PMS is an asset
• Additional languages a definite asset for career growth
• Completion of Post Secondary Education in Hospitality or related field

Started rate of pay of $23.59 per hour and full rate of pay of $26.21 per hour. This position is eligible for upsell incentives and additional $1 per hour for overnight premium.

Schedule & Hours

Successful candidates possess open availability and the ability to work all shifts including weekends, holidays, and overnights.
