Job summary

Integrated Staffing Limited is hiring for Dock Workers / Forklift Operators in Corner Brook, NL. This hands-on role requires lifting 50-75 lbs, forklift operation, and accurate daily receiving/shipping of freight on a busy dock. TDG/WHMIS training can be provided, with a strong emphasis on safety and independent work when needed.

Hours are Sunday to Thursday nights (10:30pm–7:00am). Compensation is $19.50/hour plus 4% vacation pay, with potential for long-term placement and weekly pay through

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and move freight weighing up to 75 lbs repeatedly.
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding dock environment.
• Forklift experience or certification is an asset.
• Previous warehouse, dock, or transportation experience preferred.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High-visibility reflective vest required.
• Reliable transportation required (location is not on a bus route).
• Criminal background check required prior to employment.
• TDG and WHMIS training can be provided prior to starting.

Responsibilities

We are hiring Dock Workers / Forklift Operators to support daily inbound and outbound freight operations at a busy transportation dock. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role that plays a key part in keeping freight moving safely, accurately, and on time.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

• Loading, unloading, and moving freight on the dock (50-75 lbs)


• Operating a forklift in a fast-paced, congested dock environment


• Receiving and shipping freight accurately each day


• Organizing freight for city and line-haul trailers


• Using proper handling techniques to prevent damage to customer freight
