Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Overnight Clothing Processing Outfitter in Calgary to support store operations and reduce non-selling tasks for Sales Outfitters. You will handle replenishment, pricing changes, and visual merchandising across apparel, footwear and gifts.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service and efficient inventory management. Ideal candidates will have 1+ year in sales/service, familiarity with planograms, and availability for overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ years in a sales or service environment preferred.
• Planograms and visual merchandising familiarity preferred.
• Ability to identify and replenish low or out-of-stock items.
• Available to work overnight shifts.
• Provide superior customer service and use good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general replenishment across departments (Apparel, Gear, Gifts, etc.).
• Assist inventory management with counts, scanning and display integrity tasks.
• Execute temporary and permanent price changes including tagging and signage.
• Conduct recovery tasks: folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re-hanging.
• Support visual merchandising: fixtures, end caps, signage, and floor moves.
• Assist planogram maintenance across hardlines departments.
• Support OMNI fulfillment during peak periods.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a pleasant shopping experience.

Job description

Summary:

Reporting to the Retail Manager - Operations, the Overnight Clothing Processing Outfitter assists in the overall operational function of the retail store by reducing the amount of non-selling tasks conducted by the Sales Outfitters, allowing them to focus on legendary customer service and selling opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts general replenishment for all areas including Fishing, Hunting, Camping, Marine/Water Sports, Apparel, Footwear, Hunt Clothing and Gifts.
• Supports inventory management in partnership with the Inventory Control team by completing on demand counts, empty peg scanning, display integrities, etc.
• Performs temporary and permanent price change execution including tagging, signage and inventory adjustment review.
• Performs recovery tasks across departments including folding, repackaging, sorting, facing and re-hanging.
• Supports visual merchandising for assigned areas including fixture replacement, updating signage, updating end caps, visual merchandising directives, floor moves and mannequin dressing, prep and setup of merchandise for ads and perform resets for assigned departments when required.
• Support planogram execution and maintenance through all hardlines departments.
• Supports OMNI fulfillment during peak business.
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all customers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• One or more years' experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Familiarity with planograms and visual merchandising is preferred.
• Ability to identify and replenish out of stock or low stock inventory.
• Available to work overnight shifts.
• Ability to provide superior customer service.
• Ability to use good judgment and logic.
• Experience in a related field or outdoor lifestyle.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's specific products is an asset.
