The Grocery Clerk is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties professionally, responsibly, accurately, and timely. The Clerk will deliver exceptional customer service, foster loyalty, meet customer needs, and contribute to an engaging environment for employees and customers.

Available Shift: 40 hours/week (5x8); 10pm-7am; Evenings and Weekends

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, SOPs, Health and Safety, and company policies
• Order, receive, and merchandise stock according to inventory control procedures
• Provide superior customer service to meet customer needs
• Promote featured products to increase store sales
• Maintain back shop and retail floor, keeping work areas clean and presentable
• Prepare customer orders as required
• Process department shrink as required
• Participate in training junior staff
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills (oral and written)
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform tasks involving bending, lifting, and reaching
