Job summary

Sheraton Suites Calgary Eau Claire is seeking an Overnight Bell/Valet Attendant to greet guests, assist with luggage, valet vehicles, and deliver personalized service. You will work with Front Office and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

This contract role ends January 15, 2027. Requirements include a valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license, 1 year of hospitality or customer service experience, and the ability to follow instructions and perform basic math.

Job Description

Dedicated to creating meaningful, personalized guest experiences, the Overnight Bell / Valet Attendant is a key Guest Services team member and an ambassador of the hotel's service culture. Often the first face guests see upon arrival, this role creates lasting impressions through operational excellence, attentiveness, and professionalism. As a Overnight Bell / Valet Attendant, you will assist guests with luggage, valet their vehicles, and deliver personalized service while collaborating closely with colleagues across Front Office and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Communication & Collaboration
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, colleagues, and leadership across departments.
  • Report operational issues, lost and found items, or vehicle-related incidents promptly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless service during peak arrivals and departures.
Qualifications
What will you bring to this role?
  • Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license with a current driver's abstract; ability to safely operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality, customer service, or related field; prior bell, valet, or concierge experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and perform basic math for transactions.
Availability

Must be available to work days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays to meet operational requirements.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull (up to 23 kg.) repeatedly and safely throughout the shift.
  • Required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb stairs, and move quickly for extended periods during a shift.
  • Ability to assist guests with luggage, carts, and other items multiple times per shift.
  • Capacity to enter, exit, and operate vehicles of various sizes safely.
  • Ability to work outdoors, including in varying weather conditions, while performing valet and door services.
  • Physical stamina to perform repeated guest service tasks, including opening doors, escorting guests, and delivering items to rooms, while maintaining attentiveness and professionalism.
