Job summary

Sodexo in Calgary is seeking an experienced Barista to join our team. You will greet customers, take orders, mix and serve beverages, prepare food, and keep the cafe attractive and sanitary.

You must have at least 1 year of customer service experience and be able to work weekends and overnight shifts. Knowledge of food prep, sanitation, and inventory control is helpful. Minimum age requirements apply.

Job Description

You are an experienced Barista who enjoys working in a team environment, ensuring high quality services and customer satisfaction. You will be asked to greet customers, take orders, mixes and serve hot and-or cold beverages as well as prepare food. You will have the responsibility to arrange the cafe and ensure displays are attractive. Maintaining the cafe in a sanitary matter is mandatory. You will also record all sales, collect money, operate a cash register and follow all cash-handling procedures as required. You may perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by your manager.

You have a minimum of 1-year experience and excellent customer service. You must meet the minimum age requirement to work in the province or territory where the job is located. Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, standards and inventory control systems are preferred. Ability to work weekends and overnight shifts will be given priority consideration
