Job summary

Walmar is seeking an Over-the-Counter Associate in Newmarket, Ontario to assist customers, zone the area, and perform tasks assigned by the OTC/Pharmacy Managers while delivering exemplary service in line with Wal-Mart's values.

The role involves handling patient privacy, stock rotation, pricing controls, and ensuring cleanliness and organization of the OTC department. Minimum wage starts at $17.75 per hour, with expectations for accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining patient confidentiality and follow all practices consistent with the Privacy Act.
• Maximizing department sales and profit with direction from the Pharmacy Manager.
• Rotating stock and checking for expired products.
• Zoning the department.
• Following proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, and signing/flagging/pricing/labels.
• Keeping the area NC0 and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
• Maintaining zero pricing errors (i.e. Scanning Credibility Program).
• Calibration of equipment used in the prescription filling process.
