Ovation (High-Net-Worth) Claims Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Ovation (High-Net-Worth) Claims Specialist for a hybrid role, offering flexibility and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Support Ovation Claims, primarily focusing on Property line of claims, with some Automobile claims as needed.
- Assess damages related to structural repairs and emergency mitigation.
- Ensure an effective control environment, focusing on scope, repair quality, and customer experience.
- Conduct reviews and claims studies to reduce costs and improve efficiency while maintaining high customer service standards.
- Provide service within their region and others, utilizing best practices and Xactware expertise.
- Handle assigned claims and serve as a resource across Canada for claims handling and coverage.
- Read and interpret scopes and estimates from contractors, provide feedback, and initiate actions.
- Train team members and assist with file reviews.
- Support the CAT team in coordinating responses for Ovation customers and brokers.
- Collaborate with Ovation UW and Risk Management to identify trends and risks.
- Work with Anti-Fraud team on suspected fraud claims.
- Establish relationships with internal and external adjusting partners and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a senior property loss handling role.
- Experience adjusting Auto PD claims across Canada.
- Post-secondary education or working toward CIP/FCIP certification.
- Proven track record of handling large losses (>150K).
- Experience reviewing estimates using Xactimate software.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills for high-profile clients.
- Solid understanding of claims adjusting practices.
- Bilingualism and adjusting licenses for Quebec and Atlantic provinces are assets.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range: $65,500 - $93,500, determined by experience and skills.
