Our client is a multi-line stainless steel distributor and processor serving the food, steel fabrication, chemical, and architectural industries for over three decades. They specialize in value-added services including plasma cutting, laser cutting, water-jet cutting, stainless steel polishing, shearing, and saw cutting.They are currently seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to expand their client base and strengthen relationships in Montreal and the surrounding areasKey Responsibilities:- Develop and grow new business opportunities focusing on the food, steel fabrication, chemical, and architectural sectors
- Maintain and expand existing customer relationships through regular visits, communication, and service support
- Promote a wide range of stainless-steel products and processing services (plasma, laser, water-jet cutting, polishing, shearing, saw cutting)
- Identify customer needs and work with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Provide accurate quoting, order follow-up, and post-sale support
- Maintain a strong understanding of market trends and competitors
- Meet or exceed assigned sales targets
Qualifications:- Minimum 5 years of outside sales experience, ideally in the stainless steel or steel service industry
- Post secondary education in business marketing is an asset
- Proven sales track record with industrial clients, especially in food processing, metal fabrication, chemical, or architectural sectors
- Strong technical knowledge of metal products and processing services is preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated, organized, and driven to succeed
- Fluency in French and English required
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Some overnight travel required.
