Outside Sales Representative, Residential HVAC

Join to apply for the Outside Sales Representative, Residential HVAC role at Master.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to promote and sell HVAC equipment and solutions to Residential HVAC-R clients. The role involves assessing customer needs, recommending appropriate products, and providing technical support to ensure optimal system performance. The candidate will represent The Master Group within Saskatoon, SK.

What you will accomplish with us
  • Identify and develop relationships with potential clients in various sectors to promote HVAC equipment and services.
  • Analyze client requirements and propose suitable HVAC equipment / solutions aligned with their needs.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals to clients.
  • Work as part of the residential sales team to assist and collaborate in the growth of main brands.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to customers regarding equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale to close deals effectively.
  • Visit construction sites to evaluate product applications and address site issues.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up actions.
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to expand the customer base and foster relationships.
What You Bring to Our Team
  • Previous experience in the HVAC industry
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, components, and their applications
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to interpret technical plans and specifications
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work as part of a team or independently
  • Required to travel to meet clients and attend events
  • Valid passport and driver’s license for travel within Canada and the USA for training at manufacturers’ facilities
Compensation Information
  • Base Salary Range : $75,000 - $90,000 annually
  • Supplemental Pay Types Include : commissions; annual bonus

The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s skills and experience, in compliance with applicable regulations.
