Fort Garry Industries has an exciting opportunity for an Outside Sales Representative (Aftermarket) in our Thunder Bay location.

What You Will Do :

  • The successful candidate will engage with current and new customers to build and maintain strong business relations while providing exceptional customer service.
  • Travel to customer locations within the assigned territory. (Up to 75% travel time)
  • Develop reporting and sales plans on customer accounts, outlining needs, issues, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Review new product applications, technical services, market conditions, advertising, and promotional trends as they are released.
  • Participate in training programs that include vendors, sales, and other professional development areas.
  • Uphold and embody FGI Customer Service Standards and Core Values with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Champion FGI's safety culture by performing all duties within established procedures and practices.
  • Conduct industry-related presentations.
  • May deliver parts to customer locations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We Require :

  • Three (3) - Five (5) years of sales experience in an outside sales role with demonstrated B2B experience and customer service required.
  • Valid class 5 / G license with 5 years of Canadian driving experience required.
  • A driver’s abstract with no major infractions in the last 5 years is required.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills - you exceed the expectations of internal and external customers.
  • A team player with a no-excuses attitude - you do what it takes to get the job done right.
  • Strong follow-up and accountability mindset - you don't let issues slide.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills - you don't just spot issues, you fix them fast.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail - accuracy and documentation are essential to success in this role.
  • Basic to proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (email, Word, Excel) and ability to learn in-house systems.
  • Heavy-duty parts knowledge or background in a related industry is an asset.
  • Proficiency with additional languages is an asset.
