  • Collaborate with the sales team for project tracking.
  • Assist credit department with accounts receivable.
  • Implement approved sales plans.

Job description

Our client is expanding into the Nova Scotia market as an electrical distributor. Join the team as an Outside Sales Representative and enjoy the following benefits:

  • Base Salary of $60,000-$65,000 plus commissions on gross revenue

Major Responsibilities:
  1. Perform regular and scheduled calls on assigned accounts.
  2. Provide assistance and product support to customers as required.
  3. Promote the company by distributing product line cards and other literature to each account.
  4. Monitor account performance using provided tools.
  5. Coordinate, lead, and attend scheduled sales meetings.
  6. Attend manufacturer training sessions, which may occasionally be after business hours.
  7. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure projects are quoted and tracked accurately to meet deadlines.
  8. Work with management to set monthly targets in your territory.
  9. Follow and implement the approved sales and action plans.
  10. Assist the credit department in collecting accounts receivable and adhere to the company's credit policies.
  11. Perform any special projects as requested.
Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Must have at least 2 years of experience in the Electrical/Lighting industry.
  2. 2-3 years of working knowledge of electrical products.
  3. Minimum of 3 years of sales experience.
