Overview

Salary: $50,000-$100,000. Salary is dependent on experience and sales performance.

The Outside Sales Representative (“OSR”) will regularly sell products and services offered by 84 Lumber to current and new clients away from 84 Lumber stores and other locations. This role is responsible for maintaining positive customer relationships, identifying new potential customers, and achieving predetermined sales goals at acceptable margins.

Responsibilities
  1. Builds and maintains a network to identify new sales leads.
  2. Communicates with customers and leads to understand their needs; suggests suitable products and services.
  3. Demonstrates product functions and utility based on customer needs.
  4. Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication; resolves post-sale issues.
  5. Maintains communication with existing and previous customers about new products, services, and enhancements.
  6. Prepares detailed reports of sales activities, including calls, orders, sales, lost business, and relationship issues.
  7. Provides periodic sales forecasts for the territory.
